Free NFL game simulator
NFL Game Simulator
A real NFL game, with five minutes left and the outcome still open. You call the plays on both sides of the ball, the simulator plays them out with real NFL plays, and you find out whether you win.
How the simulator works
Take over a real game
You get the team that is behind or tied late in a real NFL game, with the real score, clock, spot and timeouts.Call the offense
Eight calls: inside and outside runs, short and deep passes, spike, field goal and more. Each one returns a real NFL play.Call the defense
When the other team gets the ball, you pick the pressure: prevent, rush four, blitz, all-out or load the box. Its drive is the real one from that game.See the final score
Win, lose or go to overtime. Every call is graded by win chance, and your record stays in this browser.
What this simulator is, and what it isn't
This is a game-finish simulator, not a season simulator. It doesn't rank teams, predict a schedule or manage a roster. It takes one real game at the point where it was decided and lets you decide it again, one play call at a time, with the clock and timeouts working the way NFL clock rules say they should.
The games come from 290 real NFL games from 2023 to today where both teams had the ball in the last five minutes. Your first drive decides how the second one starts: after a score the other team starts from the kickoff, after a turnover from the spot where the ball changed hands, with whatever time you left on the clock. The game can end before your defense takes the field, for example if your drive runs out the clock, or if you lead by more than a touchdown and a two-point try can make up.
The results aren't rolled from team ratings. Every run or pass is a real NFL play from the last five minutes of a half in the 2023 to 2025 seasons, matched to your call, down, distance and field position, so the yards, the clock and the turnovers are ones that really happened. The play log names the game each one came from.
Your Drill Score averages every graded call over both drives, on the same 0 to 100 scale as the daily drive. The grading is explained in How to Play. Wins, losses, ties and your best score are kept in this browser only; nothing is sent anywhere.
More ways to play
The simulator above is the game's Full game mode. If you only want one drive, the daily drive gives everyone the same real finish each day with a score to compare, Practice gives you unlimited random drives, and Survivor runs drives back to back until three bad calls end the run.
